February Fave: Copernicus Black Pendant Light

February is the month of love, and there is much to fall for with the Copernicus Black Pendant Light.

The fixture is named for the renaissance astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus who placed the Sun, rather than the Earth, at the center of the universe. His heliocentric model remains today as one of the greatest scientific discoveries. Like orbital bands surrounding a solar glow, The Copernicus Black Pendant Light features an open weave metal design. When lit, it casts subtle light and shadows on surrounding walls and furnishings. The pendant’s generous scale is balanced by it’s sleek shape and lustrous black metal finish. We plan to use three of the Copernicus Pendants over a grand kitchen island to echo the lines of a black-veined granite slab.
