Go Red for Women Dress Collection

In honor of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Dress Collection in this year’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week we are spotlighting our The Impossible Collection of Fashion, coffee table book. The event is to remind women of the need to protect their heart health. According to the American Heart Association, “More women than men die every year from heart disease and stroke. The good news is that 80 percent of cardiac events can be prevented with education and lifestyle changes.” Go Red For Women “advocates more research and swifter action for women’s heart health.”

Part of the Impossible series from Assouline, The Impossible Collection of Fashion is a collection of 100 head-turning and, in some cases, jaw-dropping dresses.  Valerie Steele, director and chief curator of the Museum of Fashion Institute of Technology (MFIT), knows a thing or two about fashion icons.  Steele has put together iconic dresses that have hit the runway and inspired fashion direction in one way or another. Moss Manor would like to remind women everywhere that it’s not just the outer you that needs to be taken care of, the inside matters too.
