Today’s bar cart is as pretty as it is practical. Whether your style is sleek and modern, or rustic and industrial, there are some tips and tricks for decorating it that are sure to take your entertaining to the next level.
Our Principal Designer, Sarah James Moss, recently sat down with Acadiana Profile Magazine’s Marie Elizabeth Oliver to discuss some of the bar cart’s benefits, as well as some do’s and don’ts of staging.
Bar carts are “a way to have that luxury element — to have your home bar without having to dedicate all that space,” says Moss.
Moss pointed to a “less is more” approach when adding collections of drinkware. Grouping a choice selection of glasses and including varied-height-and-color options with decanters, ice buckets and bar accessories will keep your display from looking “like a bussing cart,” says Moss.
It’s also perfectly acceptable to add non-bar items to your bar cart, like seasonal flowers in an interesting vase or choice tabletop sculptures that reflect your spirited style.
Moss Manor’s selection of bar carts is available in a variety of styles and sizes to accommodate your space. From glamorous gold and lucite carts, to more rustic casual ones, these workhorse pieces can be used in the dining room, living room, kitchen, study or any area where drinks will be enjoyed.
